Our Workshop
Our Essex workshop is where our made-to-measure bespoke kitchens and joinery are manufactured, assembled, painted and sprayed by our own team. It is run day to day by a family joiner whose continuous experience dates to 1990.
Workshop visits are appointment-only for health and safety. Contact us to discuss a project or arrange a visit; we aim to respond to new enquiries within one working day.
Designed and Built In-House
Each project begins with a site survey, accurate measurements and drawings prepared by our team. Components are then manufactured and assembled here using practical joinery experience and modern machinery. Painting and spraying are also completed in our workshop before installation.
We regularly work with pine, oak, tulipwood, sapele, MDF and veneered boards. Timber worktops may be made in-house or sourced to specification, while granite, quartz and other specialist stone surfaces are supplied and installed by trusted specialists. Blum hardware is commonly specified, with alternatives selected to suit the project and budget.
Rip Saw for Solid Timber
Our rip saw is used to accurately cut and size solid timber, allowing us to prepare components with consistent widths before further machining and assembly.
Precision Panel Saw
Our panel saw is used to accurately cut sheet materials, ensuring consistent sizing and clean edges for every bespoke kitchen and joinery project.
Drawer Sander for Fine Finishing
Our drawer sander is used for fine sanding and surface preparation, producing smooth, consistent finishes on solid timber and panel components prior to final assembly and finishing.
Quality, Consistency, and Craftsmanship
Before work leaves the factory, we check dimensions, joints, door and drawer alignment, operation, finish quality and visible damage. Our own team installs the cabinetry and joinery, with trusted plumbing, electrical and gas contractors completing their specialist work where needed.
After installation, we inspect the finished work with the customer and address any agreed snagging. Care and maintenance guidance and the applicable written, product-specific workmanship-guarantee terms are supplied for each project.
